May 14:  Richie Call, Lyric Theater Showcase

     Richie Call is the Head of the Department of Theatre Arts at Utah State University and Artistic Director of the Lyric Repertory Company. This is his 25th season with the Lyric Rep where he’s both directed and acted in many fabulous productions. Richie other acting credits include work for Utah Shakespeare Festival, Pioneer Theatre Company, Salt Lake Acting Company, Mile Square Theatre, and Gorilla Rep. Richie holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts and a BFA in Theatre Arts from Utah State University.

     This year is the 60th year anniversary of the Lyric Repertory Theater and the Grand Reopening of Caine Lyric Theater. Shows include Forever Plaid, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Gutenberg! The Musical, The Outsider plus a surprise show to be announced soon (maybe on May14).

May 21: Service at Stokes Nature Center's Nibley Property

Stokes Nature Center is creating an exploration park and outdoor classroom in Nibley, UT! This Outdoor Classroom will provide recreation and learning opportunities for people of all ages to gather, celebrate, and engage in activities that promote health, well-being, community and the environment. They are proud to be the steward of this special property rich in cultural and natural heritage.

We will meet at noon at the Nibley Property, 99 West 2600 South, Nibley (just West of Hwy 165)

2026 Logan Rotary Club Golf ‘n Ribs Tournament & Lunch                                                                                                                                                                                                                     **Fundraiser for Scholarhships to USU / BTC and Dictionaries for every 3rd grader in Cache & Rich Counties
* THURSDAY, JUNE 11th at the LOGAN COUNTRY CLUB

All Rotarians and their guests are invited to the annual Logan Rotary Club Golf 'n Ribs day, to be held at the Logan Golf & Country Club on Thursday, June 11th! As always, this day features golf for those that enjoy the links and lunch for those that enjoy the ribs, and all the fixings. Lunch (NOT DINNER) will feature Floyd Jarvis's Dry Rub Smoked Ribs. This is a great way to treat family members and guests to a wonderful summer lunch and fellowship on what promises to be an epic Cache Valley day.

  • 9:30 AM - Scramble Shotgun Start
  • 1:30 PM - Social prior to lunch - cash bar available
  • 2:00 PM - Rib Lunch.

* Golfers - $500 per foursome — $150 per person (costs go up again on June 9).
**  Includes: Golf, Cart, Tee Prizes, and Famous Rotary Rib Lunch
*   Lunch cost for non-golfing Rotarians is $23 ($39-$16 meal credit)
*   Lunch cost for non-golfing guests is $39

  • Scholarships for area High School students attending Utah State University
  • Scholarships for students attending Bridgerland Technical College

RYLA 2026—‚June 24-27

Rotary Youth Leadership Award, or RYLA, a Rotary International program, is an intensive leadership program developed for youth, sponsored by Utah Rotary District 5420. It is designed to build passion, resilience, determination, gratitude and the value of Service Above Self. Students will gain life-long leadership skills and friendships through this 4-day camp while having fun and making connections. High school year 2025-2026 sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a desire to make a difference are invited to apply to attend this 4-day camp. They must be committed to attending all 4 days. This years' RYLA will be held at Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
